A fantastic experience with A Donde Vamos Hoy in Anaga. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. We were picked up in Puerto de la Cruz in a van, and José Luis was delightful, very friendly and pleasant during the drive. Then we did the hike with Pablo, a brilliant guide, very engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained fascinating facts about the laurel forest, the flora, Canarian culture, and the history of the area, making it not just a walk, but a truly enriching experience of learning and discovery. We were deeply impressed to see the water seeping naturally through the mountain rocks and to encounter small forest inhabitants like those curious "shelled slugs." We also loved discovering the traces of the old charcoal burners, the large hollowed-out tree trunks, and learning how charcoal was traditionally made in the forest. Something we greatly appreciated was the respect with which this natural space was explained and explored. You can feel the love for Anaga and the importance they place on conserving and caring for such a special environment. We were also incredibly lucky with the weather and had a spectacular day, so we were able to enjoy the scenery and the forest even more.
